About the job

Job Title: Image Manager

Location: Fully remote but candidate must reside in CA, OR, NY, or WA

Schedule: Part-Time (20-25 hours per week), can increase to 40 hours per week

Compensation: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour

We are looking for a part-time Image Specialist to own the visual output of our brand, from coordinating photographers to delivering retail-ready assets across every sales channel. This role is hands-on and varied: one day you’re on set, the next you’re retouching product shots or prepping assets for a major licensing partner.

The right person is a strong photographer and editor who’s equally comfortable managing logistics, meeting deadlines, and working independently across multiple concurrent projects.

  • Work with some of the most beloved franchises in entertainment and pop culture
  • Flexible, remote-friendly part-time schedule (20–25 hours/week)
  • Hands-on creative role with meaningful impact on how customers experience the brand
  • Opportunity to collaborate with a passionate team creating products fans love

Core Duties and Responsibilities:

Photography & Creative Production

  • Coordinate and support lifestyle photography shoots, including set preparation, prop sourcing, lighting setup, and shoot logistics
  • Photograph, select, and edit lifestyle imagery across multiple formats for web, social, ecommerce, and partner channels
  • Capture product and lifestyle assets that align with RockLove Jewelry's visual identity
  • Create short-form video content for social media and website use and organize footage for final editing and production

Photographer & Creative Partner Coordination

  • Coordinate communication and timelines with product photographers and stock model photographers
  • Assist with scheduling, sample shipments, shoot briefs, image reviews, and creative feedback
  • Maintain organized shoot trackers, production notes, and collection reference materials
  • Help ensure creative deliverables are completed accurately and on schedule

Image Editing & Asset Preparation

  • Retouch and prepare product images, lifestyle images, model images, and packaging assets
  • Deliver multi-format crops (1×1, 4×5, 9×16, banner) to spec for each channel
  • Create GIFs and dynamic Photoshop assets as needed for product launches and campaigns
  • Ensure all final assets meet quality standards and brand guidelines

Digital Asset & Platform Support

  • Organize and maintain PR, OEM, and licensing partner asset folders (Dropbox and BOX)
  • Prepare and upload images to Shopify listings and collection pages to spec
  • Format and deliver retail partner image packages (e.g. resizing, background adjustments, file naming) per each partner’s requirements
  • Assist with creating logo lockups and branded assets for licensed partners
  • Support periodic reviews of partner websites to ensure imagery aligns with approved brand standards

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with marketing, creative, ecommerce, and operations teams to support campaign launches and ongoing image needs
  • Coordinate sample tracking, image requests, and production details across teams
  • Assist with quality checks and occasional warehouse or studio visits as needed

Education/Experience:

  • 3-5+ years of photography experience, ideally in jewelry, product or fashion photography
  • 3-5+ years of Adobe Creative Suite experience (Photoshop and Lightroom required; Premiere Pro a plus)
  • Strong retouching skills and an excellent eye for composition, detail, and brand consistency
  • Experience preparing digital assets for ecommerce, social media, or retail environments
  • Familiarity with licensing, brand guidelines, or partner asset requirements preferred
  • Highly organized, deadline-driven, and comfortable managing multiple projects independently
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across internal teams and external creative partners
  • Proficient in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office

Work Environment/Tools Required:

  • Computer with Access to Internet
  • Adobe Suite
  • DSLR Camera and Accessories like lenses, extra batteries, SD chips
  • Card Reader
  • External Hard Drive
  • Photography Studio with Natural Light
